Watchman

I worked for several years as a staff minister at a church. One day, out of the blue, I was asked by my senior pastor to resign. That started a really difficult couple of months for my family and I. I was suddenly unemployed and unsure of what God was calling me to do.

I’m not here to complain. I’m here to learn and to listen.

I started finding people all over the country who have been through this same thing. Their stories are beautiful and tragic. But, I have so enjoyed getting to know people who have been through what I have.

On the other hand, I have also found people who have never told anybody what they went through. They feel that nobody wants to hear their story. Nobody wants to listen. We do.

  1. Yes, I just posted something on the first page. it is like when you come to a church, it is all “this is Gods will, and we have prayed.” When you leave, or when you are tired of the minister harassing you, finally find an income for your family, then, you are exhausted, but you are to take the spiritual high road? and not tell anyone? Gag order off… hmmm
